The Principle of Holacracy

Holacracy – derived from the Greek word “holos,” meaning an entity that is part of a larger whole, is the innovative method of decentralised management and organisational governance we employ at Acumen Strategic Partners. Holacracy, as we deploy it, means authority and decision-making are distributed through local, self-organising teams rather than being vested in a centralised conventional hierarchy. Instead of operating as a traditional corporate hierarchy, power and authority are decentralised and distributed, giving individuals and local teams much more freedom to self-manage, while staying aligned to our core values, mission, corporate identity and purpose.

In our business, there are no pay grades or promotions as no one is superior or subordinate to anyone else.
